Lemons are something that you'll see used by Kim and Aggie on 'How clean is your home', and something promoted by the green brigade, and both of them are right.  Lemons make for great eco friendly cleaning.  They are fantastic for getting rid of lingering smells in your fridge, a chopping board, and even a waste disposal unit.  They are great for polishing metals with, they can get rid of tricky stains on marble, and can be handy to clean the microwave with (see Michelle's mum's tip on microwave cleaning).  So lemons are not only good to reach for when your branded products have run out, they are equally as effective and more eco friendly.  Give it a try next time your in your kitchen.
